This year's lobster season has been a good season and much better than last year's says Þorsteinn Þrastarson, captain of the fishing ship Gulltoppur from Selfoss. The lobster is bigger than usual Icelandic lobster and there is less of small lobster. The season has gone so well that most ships are finishing their quota. This year's quota was 1800 tons. The month of June was a good month for lobster, and continues in July. People agree that the lobster found around Iceland now is a very good stock.
