Björk's Belldress on Display 9. ágúst 2006 12:19 björk The dress made out of bells, that singer Björk wore in the video „Who Is It" from her latest album Medulla, is now on display at Gallery Lobster and Fame on Klapparstígur 25, where also the Bad Taste Record Store is located. The dress which is covered in numerous bells is designed by Björk and British designer Alexander McQueen. „At the Bad Taste Record Store we have a lot of pieces from contemporary pop culture on display - the dress is only one of those pieces," says Einar Örn Benediktsson, former Sugarcube member who works at the Bad Taste label. „The dress arrived in Iceland at the beginning of the year but has now been put in the Gallery." Einar Örn says the dress is extremely heavy and only people with superpowers like Björk can wear the dress. „I've tried it on and it looked good on me, but I couldn't hold it up - I lost my breath just from putting it on," says Einar Örn.
