Beyonce and Jay-Z in Iceland

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z arrived in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, yesterday. The American couple arrived in a private jet at Reykjavik airport.

They left Reykjavik right away for adventures in the countryside. They are staying at the Tro­phy lodge, a pri­vate lodge be­neath the Langjökull glac­ier.

A black helicopter was pictured outside the lodge today.

The couple is here to celebrate Jay-Z‘s 45th birthday on Thursday, December 4th.

Guests are expected to be arriving tomorrow and locals are excited to see if the birthday party will be full of celebrities.

Beoncé and Jay-Z have Icelandic tourguides and a lot planned for the birthday trip.

Today they went for a luxury treatment and a swim in the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa. 

They are also believed to be taking the helicopter in the next days to see the volcanic eruption which is still ongoing in Holuhraun.
