The show, Nature's Diet is a sort of „Survivor" for overweight people who have developed unhealthy lifestyles. The show will be aired in Ireland from September until Christmas and is a great introduction to Icelandic landscape. On the show the people whose bad eating habits and no exercise will gain an opportunity to reverse the cycle of an unhealthy lifestyle to a healthy one depending on Icelandic nature. They will meet challenges in different parts of the country and taken horse riding, swimming, hiking, snowmobiling among other things. „We will use what nature has to offer. The main idea is return to nature and a healthier lifestyle," says producer Clodagh Freeman. The contestants are from the age 19 to 44 and have all been diagnosed as overweight. The person who has lost the most weight at the end of the show is the winner. „The reasons we choose Iceland is because Iceland is renowned for its beautiful nature and that we have heard great things about the country," says Freeman.
